Kim Sprunger

Kim Sue Sprunger, age 67, of Ligonier, passed away at home on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on July 1, 1956  the daughter of John A. & L. Lorene (Mauzy) Weimer in Warsaw. On November 1, 1975, she married Dennis Sprunger.

She is survived by her husband of over 48 years, Dennis Sprunger of Ligonier; their children, Corrie (Rodney) Miller of Goshen, Casey (Leah) Sprunger of Warsaw, and Clay (Stephanie) Sprunger of Columbia City; six grandchildren, Wyatt Miller, Ivy Miller, Ellie Sprunger, Jack Sprunger, Elizabeth Sprunger and Natalie Sprunger; siblings, Matt (Joni) Weimer of Kendallville, Rusty (Cheryl) Weimer of Angola, and Craig (Linda) Weimer of Ligonier; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Kim graduated from West Noble High School in 1974. She was a devoted homemaker and the secretary for her husband’s business, Unlimited Siding since 2000. Kim was also a faithful member of Ligonier Missionary Church and together with her family cleaned the church for over 30 years. She enjoyed traveling with her family, giving gifts to others, and loved spending time with her family, especially at Christmas.

A funeral service will be held in Kim’s honor at 10 am on Friday, April 26, 2024 at Ligonier Missionary Church, 1911 Lincolnway South, Ligonier, IN 46767. Pastor Troy Diersing and Rev. Hubert Harriman will officiate. Burial will follow at Salem Cemetery in Wilmot.

Family and friends will be received from 4-8 pm on Thursday, April 25, 2024 at Ligonier Missionary Church and also 9-10 am prior to the service at the church on Friday.
