Kenneth "Ken" Skipper

Kenneth "Ken" H. Skipper, of Kimmell, IN passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, IN. He was born on October 17, 1953 the son of Carol Skipper and Elsie Trowbridge (Mullins) in Maryland.

He is survived by his daughter, Stephanie “Steph” F. Hughes; two grand-children, Nicole L. Kruyer, Dakota L. Kruyer; great grand-daughter, Roselynn M. Baugh; sister, Karin Skipper; and son-in-lawn, James R. Kruyer.

Ken is preceded in death by his parents, Carol Skipper and Elsie Trowbridge and his grandson, Dylan J. Kruyer, who passed away in May of 2016.

A true outdoors man led him to really enjoy hunting and fishing. No matter the weather, you could find him outdoors.  Gardening was something he really liked to do from start to finish.  Ken worked for many years as a crew leader for both Mallard and Dutchman R.V. companies.

A private cremation committal has taken place at Legacy Cremation & Remembrance Center. A memorial service to honor Ken's life will take place on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at 2PM at Yeager Funeral Home - 1589 Lincolnway South Ligonier, IN 46767.  Pastor Kenneth Weaver will officiate

A time for family and friends to call on the funeral home for a memorial visitation will be from 12PM - 2PM on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at Yeager funeral home, prior to the memorial service.  Burial of cremated remains will take place at Oak Park Cemetery in Ligonier  following the service.
