John R. Snyder

John R. Snyder, age 64, of Kendallville, Indiana passed away on Friday, February 28, 2025 in Fort Wayne, Indiana.  He was born on February 4, 1961 to Harry and Lula Mae (Ray) Snyder, Sr. in Peru, Indiana. He married Debra Shepherd on December 9, 1995.

He is survived by his wife, Debra Shepherd; children, Andrew Snyder of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Shannon (Justin) Brinkman of LaGrange, Indiana, Brandon Freeland of Kendallville, Indiana, and Brittany Freeland of Kendallville, Indiana; seven grandchildren; brothers, Carl (Reva) Snyder of Peru, Indiana, Lawrence (Cherl) Snyder of Peru, Indiana, and Harry (Sherry) P. Snyder, Jr. of Ligonier, Indiana; and sister, Vicky (Jim) Ricther of Peru, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, David L. Snyder of Elkhart, Indiana.

John enjoyed watching Chicago Bears football, Chicago Cubs baseball, and IU basketball. He also like to play Frisby golf and was an avid Harley Davidson fan.

Cremation will take place at Legacy Cremation and Remembrance Center in Ligonier.
