John D. Charles

John D. Charles, age 60, of Cromwell, Indiana passed away on October 18, 2019 at his residence.  He was born to Stella Mae (Bolen) Jacobs and Elmer Defroy Charles on April 2, 1959 in Kendallville, Indiana

John is survived by his fathers, Shelby Jacobs of Cromwell and Elmer Charles of Ligonier; daughters, Cari Charles of South Bend, Brenda (Robert) Dotson of Quincy, MI; brother, Shelby Jacobs, Jr.; and 5 half sisters.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Stella Jacobs; son, David Charles; daughter, Sylvia Cole; sister, Brenda Ruggles, ; and grandchildren, Kristopher Cole and Ayden Charles.

Services will be held on Wednesday October 23, 2019 at 6pm at Yeager Funeral Home Ligonier, IN. There will be a time of visitation before the service from 4pm-6pm.  Pastor Larry Anglemyer will officiate.  Burial will be at a later date.

John enjoyed hunting, fishing and his dogs.
