Jerry Wayne Pauley

Jerry Wayne Pauley, age 72, of Cromwell, Indiana passed away at 12:15 am on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at Goshen Hospital. He was born on September 12, 1951, the son of Harrison Lee and Carolyn Sue (Burdette) Pauley in Charleston, WV. On April 6, 1985, he married Vickie G. Pauley in Norton, Virginia.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Vickie Pauley of Cromwell; four children, Jennifer (Harold) Caudill of Ligonier, Jada Dunlap of Kimmell, Jerry Lee (Kayla) Pauley of Cromwell, Kayla (Josiah) Elswick of Syracuse; eight grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren; four siblings, Terry (Jeane) Pauley of Cromwell, Sherry Sampson of Cromwell, Judy (Earl) Ritchie of Kentucky, and Donna (Larry) Knox of Cromwell; along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Jerry retired from Silgan Plastics after 45 years of faithful service and was a member of The Sanctuary of Syracuse.  He was a master craftsman and a very talented woodworker. Jerry loved making things for his family and friends, growing a garden, and being with his family.

A funeral service will be held in Jerry’s honor at 2pm on Friday, June 21, 2024, at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South, Ligonier, IN 46767. Pastor Jamey Seaton will officiate. Burial will follow at Sparta Cemetery in Kimmell.

Family and friends will be received from 12-2 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
