Jason Sheley

Jason Sean Sheley, 44, of New Paris, IN passed away on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 in Goshen Hospital. Jason was born on May 9, 1981 in Marshall, MI, the son of Sean O’Leary, and raised by Kim (Noel) and Charles Sheley.

He is survived by three children: Wesley Sheley, Catheren Schubbe and Braxtyn Lopez. Father: Charles (Rosanna) Sheley; Girlfriend: Amber Lopez and two grandchildren. He is also survived by a sister: Emily (Jason) Meade. He is preceded in death by his mother, Kim Sheley, his father, Sean O’Leary, and son, Teagan Sheley.

Jason enjoyed playing his guitar and listening to heavy metal music. He also loved attending concerts and being outdoors.

Memorial visitation will be held from 10:00-12:00 pm Thursday, September 11, 2025 in Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South, Ligonier, IN 46767. Cremation will follow and his ashes will be laid to rest in Oak Park Cemetery, Ligonier with his mother.
