Irene Fisher

Irene Fisher, age 99, of Cromwell, passed away on Tuesday, July 15, 2025. She was born on June 23, 1926 in Yale, Kentucky to Ernest and Adah May (Reed) Rollins.

She is survived by her son, Terry (Sherri) Fisher of Kendallville and brother, Eugene Rollins of Syracuse. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Travis Fisher; brothers, Herman Rollins, Kenneth Rollins, James Rollins, and Clyde Rollins; sisters, Juanita Felts and Alma Rollins.

During her leisure time, Irene enjoyed tackling puzzles. She had a fondness for listening to her bluegrass music and found solace and deep connection within the world of gardening and flowers.

A gathering of family and friends will take place on Monday, July 21, 2025 from 12 noon to 2 PM at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South, Ligonier, Indiana 46767. A funeral service will be held to commemorate the life of Irene at 2 PM on Monday, July 21, 2025 at the funeral home. Pastor Dale Hicks will officiate. Burial will take place at Sparta Cemetery in Kimmell, Indiana.
