Ignacio Trinidad Nicolas

Ignacio Trinidad Nicolas, age 62, passed away, Friday, May 23, 2025 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was born on February 1, 1963 to Filemon Trinidad Hernandez and Clara Nicolas Lopez in Magdalena Jaltepec, Nochixtlan, Oaxaca, Mexico.

Ignacio is survived by his brother, PorfirioTrinidad Nicolas; sisters, Petrona Trinidad Nicolas, Maria Trinidad Nicolas and Lilia Trinidad Nicolas. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Soledad Trinidad Nicolas.

Ignacio was a member of Dios De Amor for 7 years. There he was Sunday School Teacher, head of the Men’s Group and on the Council of Regional Men’s Group: Hombres de Valor. Ignacio was loved across the entire region of hispanic churches.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Sunday, June 1, 2025 from 3-4 pm at Yeager Funeral Home,1589 Lincoln Way South, Ligonier, IN 46767. A service will be held to commemorate the life of Ignacio at 4pm following the visitation on Sunday. Pastor Samuel Landero will officiate. Cremation will occur following the service. Memorial contributions may be given to Sarai Zayago or Kerin Peña.
