Guy Douglas Cox

Guy Douglas Cox, age 55, of Fort Wayne, IN formerly of Syracuse, IN passed away on Wednesday November 24, 2021 at Parkview Regional Hospital in Fort Wayne, IN. He was born on December 30, 1965 the son of Arley and Dulcie (Criner) Cox in Goshen, IN.

Guy is survived by a son, Caleb; two sisters, Joan Routsong of McAllen, TX and Kathy (Don) Irwin of Columbus City, IN; along with several nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was preceded in death by son, Douglas Cox; his parents; and three siblings, Sharon Yates, Cheryl Cox, and Steve Cox.

Guy graduated from Wawasee High School in 1984 and went on to serve his country honorably in the United Staes Army for four years. He also worked in the RV industry for several years.

A graveside service will be held in Guy’s honor on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at Syracuse Cemetery in Syracuse, IN. Celebrant Larry Baker will officiate. Military honors will be rendered by Syracuse American Legion Post #223.
