Glade N. Rogers

Glade N. Rogers, age 90, of Cromwell, passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2025 at his residence. He was born on February 1,1935 to Gerald and Grace (Guthrie) Rogers. Glade married Elaine Roberts on January 11,1980 in Columbia City.

Glade is survived by his wife, Elaine Rogers of Cromwell; sister, Jeanne Sautter of Albuquerque, NM; several nieces and nephews; special friend and care giver, Rachel Taylor of Cromwell and special friend, Gaylord Cunningham. Glade graduated from Albion High School in 1953. He served his country in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Greenland. Glade was a farmer most of his life and loved John Deere equipment. He also drove his own semi, hauling grain, and worked on the railroad after his service in the military. Glade and Elaine enjoyed overwintering in Florida and traveling extensively. Glade had a great sense of humor and always loved to tell jokes. He was a very thankful person and always gave thanks at the end of every conversation.

A gathering of family and friends will take place from 12 noon to 2 pm on Thursday, March 20, 2025 at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South, Ligonier, Indiana 46767. A service will be held to commemorate the life of Glade at 2 pm on Thursday, March 20, 2025 at the funeral home. Rev. Rachel Bales-Case will officiate. Burial will take place at Indian Village Cemetery in Cromwell, Indiana.
