Felipe Gutierrez Najera

Felipe Gutierrez Najera, age 46, of Ligonier, IN passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 20, 2017 in South Bend, IN. He was born on May 11, 1971 in Aguascalientes, Mexico the son of Jesus Gutierrez Ortiz & San Juana Najera.

He is also survived by his daughter, Korayma V. Cervantes of Fort Wayne, IN, step-daughters; Cynthia Ibarra and Cristina Ibarra, both of Ligonier, IN, parents; Jesus Gutierrez and San Juana Najera, along with many siblings and cousins.

Felipe had many character traits.  He loved his family more than anything and made many trips to visit with his parents in Mexico.  A devoted friend, and neighbor, he always found time to spend with anyone.  His daytime activities were spent working for Silgan Plastics for 20 plus years.  His evening, night time and weekend activities consisted of working on cars and sharing his firearm collection amongst friends.

Family and friends may gather at the Strong Tower Worship Center – 502 West Diamond Lake Road Ligonier, IN 46767 on both Thursday, May 25, 2017 and Friday, May 26, 2017 from 1PM-9PM on both days.

Formal funeral services along with burial will take place in Mexico at a later date.
