Fannie E. Luevano, age 71, of Middlebury, passed away on Monday, October 18, 2021 at her residence. She was born to Enos and Mary (Miller) Hershberger on November 2, 1949 in Mount Eaton, Ohio.
Fannie is survived by her husband of 20 years, Jorge Luevano of Middlebury; son, Michael Beauchamp of LaGrange; grandchildren, Dillin Beachump, Janie Lee Beuchamp, and Kaitlyn Rayann Beuchamp; great-grandchildren, Benjamin, Hannah and Ava; sister, Elizabeth (Dan) Slabaugh of Mount Eaton, Ohio; brother-in-laws, Eli Gingerich of Apple Creek, Ohio and Henry Troyer of Ashland, Ohio; along with many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, and two sisters; Amanda Gingerich and Sevilla Troyer.
A funeral service will be held in Fannie’s honor on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 3pm New Beginning International Church, 1990 N. 1200 W. Cromwell, Indiana 46732. Pastor Saul Sauceda will officiate. A gathering of family and friends will take place from 1-3 pm prior to the service at the church. Burial will take place at Oak Park Cemetery.
Fannie was a member of New Beginning International Church in Cromwell, Indiana. She served in the Jail ministries with 180 inmates at Ashland, Kentucky, and the Federal Corrections Facility in Edeen, Texas. She also served in the Children’s Ministries and Ornament Ministries. She always worked closely with Pastor Saul and Irma for Evangelistic Outreach. Fannie took a lot of pride in Home Interior where she was the top seller for many years.
