Dora Buch

Dora Buch, age 87, of Ligonier, Indiana passed away on Friday, April 19, 2024 at Parkview Noble Hospital in Kendallville, IN. She was born on September 8, 1936, the daughter of Sirilo and Margarita (Castillo) Dimas in San Antonio, TX. She grew up in Texas and married Andrew Buch in 1965.

Dora moved to Ligonier in the 1990’s when she retired. She loved to crotchet and made countless blankets for her children and grandchildren. Dora also enjoyed drawing and taking pictures. She will always be loved and greatly missed.

Dora is survived by two daughters, Margarita Magos of Ligonier, Indiana and Maria Sandoval of Elkhart, Indiana; nineteen grandchildren; and over twenty great-grandchildren,

She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Buch; a daughter, Antonia Cooper; a son, Christoval Dimas; three brothers; and one sister.

In keeping Dora’s wishes, no public visitation or services are planned. Cremation will take place at Legacy Cremation & Remembrance Center in Ligonier.
