Donald R. Chrisman

Donald R. Chrisman, age 85, of Ligonier, IN, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, October 14, 2018.  He was born on March 13, 1933 to the late Harley L. and Dorothy D. (Dickinson) Chrisman at their family home in Ligonier.  On May 17, 1957, he married Linda Stump; she survives.

He held many different jobs during his lifetime, but in his last years he worked at Carriage, Inc. in Millersburg, IN.  Don loved cars and enjoyed working on them, but he will mostly be remembered as a man of God.  He wanted everyone to know that he loved Jesus and he wanted them to know Jesus.

He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Linda Chrisman; daughters Fay Jane, Cathy (Ken) Shaw, Sally (Tim) Sell, Robyn Chrisman; siblings Ray and Lee Chrisman, Barbara Leamon; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Family and friends may gather on Friday, October 19, 2018 from 1PM – 8PM at the Ligonier Evangelical Church -1911 Lincolnway South, Ligonier, IN  46767.

A Funeral Service in Donald’s honor will be on Saturday, October 20, 2018, at 1PM at the Ligonier Evangelical Church. Rev. Marty Waite will officiate.

There will be a time of visitation from 11AM-1PM Saturday prior to the service.
