Domenick Jayson Barnes

Domenick Jayson Barnes, 18, of Ligonier passed away unexpectedly on June 10, 2024 as a result of an automobile accident. He was born on July 17, 2005 to Walter and Kimberly Barnes in Zephyrhills, Florida. He was a senior at West Noble High School in Ligonier.

Dom was an easy baby and very smart as a young child. He grew up to be kind, with a love of dinosaurs, sharks, and his mom’s alfredo. He was a great big brother, especially skilled at trash talk with little sister, Bella. Dom was looking forward to becoming a welder like his father in Job Corp and he couldn’t wait for the release of the new Assassin’s Creed Shadows, his favorite game.

Dom will be very missed by his parents, Walter and Kimberly Barnes of Ligonier; his brother, Kyle Barnes (fiancé, Payton Sizemore); his sister, Izabella Barnes; maternal grandmother, Marion Carter of Ligonier; and several aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Julie Hemminger and maternal aunt, Susan Marzan.

No public services are scheduled at this time, a private cremation committal will take place.
