Dennis R. Miller

LIGONIER - Dennis R. Miller age 70, of Ligonier, Indiana passed away Sunday, June 10, 2018 at the Avalon Village Nursing Home in Ligonier, IN.  Born on August 15, 1947, Dennis is the son of Lloyd and Ida (Miller) Miller. Dennis married Patricia J. Schmucker on September 7, 1997, in Martin, S.D.  She has since passed away on April 12, 2018.

Surviving immediate family include his siblings; Virginia (Steve) Chapman of Elkhart, IN, Robert Goodpastor of Tampa, FL, Roger Miller of LaGrange, IN; mother-in-law, Irene Thomas; father-in-law, James D. “JD” Thomas of LaGrange, IN; brothers-in-law, Del (Brenda) Schmucker, of Dryden, Ontario, Homer Schmucker, of Las Vegas, NV; sister-in-law, Sharlene (Frank) Herington, of Elkhart, IN; three nieces, six nephews, one great nephew and one great niece.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Patti Miller; parents, Lloyd and Ida Miller; and siblings, Leroy Miller, Noble Miller, Beverly Miller, and Wilford “Dean” Miller.Dennis enjoyed being a devoted husband to his wife, Patti.  He liked to watch Old Country Western movies and tinker around with CB type of Radios.

A cremation committal will take place with Legacy Cremation and Remembrance Center in Ligonier, IN.

Dennis will be laid to rest at Scott Cemetery, Scott, IN at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be directed to Roger Miller.
