Delbert R. Yoder, 80, of Topeka, Indiana, passed away peacefully at Goshen Hospital in Goshen, Indiana, on September 26, 2026, at 10:00 PM, following a period of declining health. He was born in Sugarcreek, Ohio, on February 26, 1946, to the late Raymond and Lizzie Yoder.

He is survived by his four children, Elaine Yoder, Connie (Aaron) Szabo, Darrell (Cindy) Yoder, LaMar (Hope) Yoder; his former wife Wilma L. Yoder; nine grandchildren; sisters, Katie Miller and Betty Schmucker; and brothers, Amos Yoder, Raymond Yoder, Jr., and Mose Yoder.

He was preceded in death by sisters, MaryAnn Troyer, Ada Miller, Ida Miller, Iva Miller, and brothers, Levi and Dan.

He was a faithful member of New Life Fellowship in Topeka, Indiana; was devoted to the Lord, loved studying God’s Word, and was actively involved in his cherished Bible study group. He loved to spend time with family, travel, watch birds, and take care of his lawn.

Visitation hours will be Friday, October 2, 2-4 and 6-8 PM at New Life Fellowship 2755 State Road 5, Topeka, IN 46571. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 3 at 10 AM, also at New Life Fellowship. Arrangements are being handled by Yeager Funeral Home, Ligonier, Indiana.
