Debra Lee Treece

Debra Lee Treece, age 63, of Leesburg, Indiana passed away unexpectedly on Sunday,  July 9, 2023 at home. She was born on October 11, 1959 in Sturgis, Michigan. She married Ronald Tackitt in 1994 and they were together for nearly 30 years.

She is survived by three children, Roy (Heather) Allen of Syracuse, Julanna Allen, and Paul Vines Jr. of Leesburg; ten grandchildren; and a brother, Rodney Stewart of Elkhart. She was preceded in death by her parents, Max and Alice (Allman) Allen and Delores Prentice.

Debra worked for many years at local factories including, Krider’s, Rinker Boats, and JC Pontoon. She enjoyed knitting, coloring, anything craft related, and racing. Debra loved her family, especially her cats.

A funeral service will be held in Debra’s honor at 4 pm on Sunday, July 16, 2023 at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South, Ligonier, IN 46767.

Family and friends will be received from 2 pm - 4 pm prior to the service at Yeager Funeral Home.
