Debra Lynn Rauls

Debra Lynn Rauls, age 62, of Benton Harbor, MI passed away on Wednesday June 2, 2021 at Lakeland Medical Center in St. Joseph, MI. She was born on January 27, 1959 the daughter of Doil and Maxine (Lawrick) McAndrew in Fort Ord, CA. On August 30, 1996 she married Gerald Rauls in Baldwin, MI.

Survivors include her husband, Gerald Rauls of Benton Harbor, MI; three sisters, Brenda Vice of Covert, MI, Peggy Wagner of Lawrence, MI, and Marlena (Kenneth) Ashley of Coloma, MI; two step-children, Christine (Antwan) Gipson of Benton Harbor, MI and Alan Rauls of Stevensville, MI; step-grandchildren, Hallie Tibone of Stevensville, MI and Britney (Jaysen) Templin of Mesa, AZ; and a step-great-granddaughter, Josie Templin.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Darrell McAndrew in1978.

Debra graduated from Coloma High School in 1977 and later from Lake Michigan College with a B.A. in Accounting. She retired to care for her mother in 2010 and had worked for Weldun and Intermet. Debra was a member of New Freedom Church in Coloma, MI and enjoyed camping, birdwatching, and spending time with her family. She was definitely an animal lover and will be missed by her cats, Bear and Boogie in addition to her family.

A celebration of Debra’s life will be held at 1pm on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at New Freedom Church, 6210 Mountain Rd, Coloma, MI 49038. Pastor Wade Blankenship will officiate.
