David Leroy Pendill

David Leroy Pendill, age 83, of Elkhart, passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2025 at the Ernestine M. Raclin House in Mishawaka, Indiana. He was born on November 18, 1941 to Robert and Rosalie (Working) Pendill in Elkhart, Indiana.

David was an assistant chief of the Osceola Fire Department. He has also been a proud member of the UAW for 53 years, the union president for region 3, local 941, and a UAW veteran that served in the army from 1965 to 1971.

He is survived by his children, Chad (Paula) Pendill and Heather Pendill; significant other, Christine Koshock; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and brother, Terry Pendill. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A cremation will take place at Legacy Cremation and Remembrance Center in Ligonier.
