Darwin J Spaw, 54, of Rome City, passed away Monday, June 1, 2026 at Parkview Regional Medical Center.

He was born on June 25, 1971 to the late Dennis and Barbara (Yaney) Bollenvaugh.

Darwin worked as a welder for Reliable and Worrells Automotive in Kendallville.

Darwin will always be remembered for his devotion to working hard, and most importantly, his family.

He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Spaw; daughter, Amber (Ricardo) Peralez; five grandchildren; sisters, Amy Irvin and Tina Sloan; step-daughter, Ellie Coblentz and Eva Coblentz; and several nieces and nephews.

Also preceding him in death was a sister, Kim Spaw.

Per Darwin’s wishes, cremation services will take place.
