Danise Ann Osborne

Danise Ann Osborne, age 62, of Ligonier, IN, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 23, 2017 at 7:49 am in Cromwell, IN. She was born on November 9, 1954 in Lexington, KY to Estle and Edna (Henson) Orsborne.

You could catch Danise zooming around in her Red Ford Mustang heading to grab a bite to eat at the Fashion Farm Restaurant, Fat Boys, occasionally Ponderosa, and the Dairy Point in Ligonier.  Fat Boys was a place she could really let her hair down and dance the night away while listening to her favorite local band – Gunslinger , rock out.   She also really enjoyed spending time outside working on whatever needed to be tended to.  The word fun was what she embodied, and her Family was her passion.  She would remodel your home and shelter all of the wild animals in the neighborhood, giving them food and drink.  She will be missed by many.

She is survived by her daughter, Bridget Ann (Rodney Sr.) Bowman, of Albion, IN; three grandchildren, Brandon, Bryan and Bryanna Bowman; brother-in-law, Herbert “Frank” Hicks of Cromwell, IN and several cousins in the state of Kentucky.

Danise was preceded in death by her parents, twin sister; Diane Osborne, brother; Denny Osborne and grandson, Rodney Bowman Jr.

Friends and family may call from  3PM- 5PM and 6PM-8PM on Sunday, April 30, 2017 at Yeager Funeral Home – 1589 Lincolnway South Ligonier, IN 46767.

A funeral service will begin at 11 AM on Monday, May 1, 2017 at Yeager Funeral Home.  Pastor Jeffrey Thomas will officiate. Burial will follow at Sparta Cemetery, Kimmell, IN.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the family of Bridget Bowman to help with the funeral expenses.
