Crystal Lynn Paxson

Crystal Lynn Paxson, age 43, of Albion, Indiana passed away unexpectedly Saturday December 14, 2024 at home. She was born April 17, 1981, the daughter of James “Steve” and Lynn (Diehm) Watkins in Fort Wayne, Indiana. On May 10, 2010  she married Joshua Paxson.

Crystal graduated from Central Noble High School in 1999 where she was a cheerleader and played the Saxophone. She was very talented and enjoyed crafting, restoring old furniture, and calligraphy. Crystal also enjoyed making and canning dill pickles with her father. She was a loving daughter, mother and grandmother who loved her family, and was loved by them.

She is survived by her parents, James “Steve” Watkins of Ligonier, Indiana and Lynn Watkins-Bolling and Michael Bolling of Ligonier; four children, Kaylena Watkins of Albion, Jenica Watkins of Albion, Gevin Paxson of Albion, and Jessa Fox all of Albion, Indiana; a granddaughter, Lylah Lewis; grandmother, Mary Gunder of Fort Wayne, Indiana; two brothers, Johnathan Bolling of Ligonier, and Sean Bolling of Fort Wayne, Indiana; along with several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mellannie Bishop.

A funeral service will be held in Crystal’s honor at 6pm on Friday, December 20, 2024 at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South, Ligonier, IN 46767.

Family and friends will be received from 3-6 pm on Friday December 20, 2024 prior to the funeral service at Yeager Funeral Home.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation will take place following the funeral service.
