Cory Thomas Gibson, 34, of Ligonier, passed away suddenly on Saturday, May 2, 2026.

He was born in Kendallville to Thomas Gibson and Dawn (Cook) Gibson on September 1, 1991.

Cory had attended John Hardin High School in Elizabethtown, Kentucky.

He had previously worked for Rich Specialty Trailers.

Cory loved to fish and attend yard sales, but his true passion was his family, especially his children.

He is survived by his children, Michael Gibson and Naveah Yates; parents, Thomas Gibson and Dawn Gibson; siblings, Amanda Fegett, Desiree Gibson-Fellows, and Mary Gibson; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at 3 p.m. at Yeager Funeral Home. 1589 Lincolnway South, Ligonier with Calling from 12 noon until the start of the service at 3 p.m. Cremation services will follow.

Memorials may be directed to the family for final expenses.
