Claudia Skelly

Claudia Skelly, age 87, of Columbia City, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana.  She was born on April 2, 1936 to Marian and Ethel (Smith) Jacobs in Pippa Passes, Kentucky.

Claudia is survived by her sons, Rock Richard of Munising, MI, Kelly (Kim) Richard of Columbia City, IN; grandchildren, Derek Richard, Brad Richard, Laura Richard; brother, Merle Jacobs of Jacksonville, FL; sisters, Irene Slone of Cumberland, TN and Ivalee Kirby of Phoenix, AZ. She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Jim Jacobs, Paul Jacobs, Bob Jacobs; sister, Vivian Eyer.

Claudia loved gardening, puzzles, and especially her grandchildren.

A graveside service in Claudia’s honor will be at 11am on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at Oak Park Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will take place one hour prior to the graveside service at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South, Ligonier, Indiana 46767.
