Christopher Aaron Davidsen

Christopher Aaron Davidsen, age 49, of LaGrange, Indiana passed away on April 26, 2023 at 10:17 pm at Home. He was born on June 19, 1973 to Robert & Vanessa (Poyser) Davidsen in Columbia City.

Christopher graduated from Jackson High School in Jackson, Michigan in 1993. He then went on to graduate Cum Laude from Denver Automotive & Diesel College. He most recently worked for Napa Auto Parts in Ligonier as assistant manager.

Chris’s passion was hockey. He was a devoted New Jersey Devils fan. He loved watching Nascar and NFL. He attended Richville United Methodist Church. Chris enjoyed family and church family gatherings, especially July 4th and Christmas. He played a mean game of UNO.

Mr. Davidsen is survived by a daughter, Eva Jean Davidsen of Westminster, CO; parents, Bob & Vanessa Davidsen of LaGrange; brother, Brad (Alison) Davidsen of Napierville, IL; niece & nephew, Kallie F. Davidsen and Ethan E. Davidsen of Napierville, IL; uncles, Steven (Susan) Davidsen of Indianapolis, James (Mary) Davidsen of Fishers, Michael Davidsen of Cromwell, Kevin (Christina) Davidsen of Cromwell, Melvin Wietfeldt of Etna; cousins, Emma Davidsen, Craig (Mary) Davidsen, Rachel (Stefan) Cook, Cory (Clarisa) Davidsen, Stephanie, Zack (Hannah), and Nathan Davidsen, Jessie (JR) Stutzman; 6 second cousins; and very special friends, Al (Mary) Hicks, and Kenny Williams.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Marvin & Jean Poyser and T. Robert “Bud” & Marjory Davidsen; and beloved aunt, Valerie Wietfeldt.

Family and friends will be received from 4-7 pm on Tuesday May 2, 2023 at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South, Ligonier, IN 46767. There will also be an hour of visitation prior to the service at the church.

A funeral service will be held in Mr. Davidsen’s honor at Richville United Methodist Church at 11 am on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 with Pastors Tamra Gerber and Gary Ford officiating. Burial will follow at Sparta Cemetery in Kimmell.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
