Charles L. "Chuck" Ferguson Jr., 51, of Fort Wayne, passed away suddenly on Thursday, September 17, 2026 at his residence.

Charles was born on February 16, 1975 in Goshen to Charles Ferguson Sr. and Edna (Kauffman) Rupert.

He attended West Noble Schools. 

Chuck enjoyed fishing, bowling and playing the lottery. Chuck was an Indiana Special Olympics Bowling Champion. He was an avid fan of the Chicago Bears, Chicago Cubs, and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. Most of all, Chuck will be fondly remembered for his deep love of his family.

He is survived by his mother and step-father, Edna and Casey Rupert; siblings, Cheryl (Peter) Allen and Jacob Rupert; nephews, Ethan Gates, Evan Gates, Nolan Allen, and Kayden Goble; aunt, uncles, and many cousins; and special friends, Robin Laymon and Zach Walter. 

A Celebration of Chuck's Life will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2026 from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. at Positive Expressions, 441 Fernhill Avenue, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46805

Memorials may be directed to Chuck's Family C/O Yeager Funeral Home for the creation of a scholarship fund in Chuck's name for the Fort Wayne Special Olympics Bowling Team.
