Carrie Faye Staton , 42 of Waterloo, IN, passed away Monday morning, March 26, 2018 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, IN. She was born February 19, 1976 the daughter of John Chester Staton and Julia B. (Kidd) Fenner in Goshen, IN.
Carrie was a woman of many talents and great traits. Her family describes her as a natural born comedian, who was the biggest animal lover. Two legs or four, Carrie found a way to show love and support to her furry friends especially, if they were Cats. Her hobbies consisted of doing hair, singing karaoke, playing pranks on anyone, and making people laugh. Carrie Q. will always be missed, and she will always be loved.
She is survived by her Mother; Julia (Kevin) Fenner of Huntley, IL, siblings; Annie (Jeff) Staton-Prokop of Milwaukee, WI, Katherine (Jesse) Fenner-Jamieson, of Madison, WI, Charles L. Fenner, of Nashville, TN, nephew; Leo Jamieson, of Madison, WI, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Carrie was preceded in death by her father, John C. Staton, and grandparents; Robert and Annabelle Kidd.
A memorial service will be held in Carrie Q’s honor on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at 2 PM at Yeager Funeral Home – 1589 Lincolnway South Ligonier, IN 46767, with Pastor John Lutton officiating. Burial will be in Oak Park Cemetery in Ligonier, IN following the service.
There will be a memorial visitation from 12PM-2PM prior to the funeral service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
A cremation committal will take place with Legacy Cremation and Remembrance Center in Ligonier, IN.
