Carol Ann Norment

Carol Norment, age 56, of Wolcottville, Indiana passed away unexpectedly, on Friday, October 25, 2024 in Wolcttoville. She was born on July 24, 1968 the daughter of Maurice J. and Mary E. (Lucas) Guiff in Indianapolis, Indiana. On May 6, 1995, she married Douglas Loren “Ox” Norment Jr.; he preceded her in death on August 1, 2017.

She is survived by two daughters, Madison Norment of Bristol, Indiana and Tenley Norment of Albion, Indiana; three grandchildren, Emmett, Estella, and Ensley all at home; her mother, Mary (Terry) Armstrong of Warsaw, Indiana; a brother, Matt (Angie) Guiff of North Manchester, Indiana; and a sister, Teryn (Dan) Becker of Fort Wayne, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her father, a brother, Todd Guiff, and her stepmom, Sue Guiff.

Carol graduated from Warsaw Community High School in 1987 and completed cosmetology school. She was very talented, hardworking, and a free spirit for sure. Carol loved making crafts and riding her Harley Davidson Motorcycle. She had a caregiver’s heart and was always taking care of everyone else and making sure they had what they needed.

A funeral service will be held in Carol’s honor at 7pm on Thursday, October 31, 2024 at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South, Ligonier, Indiana 46767. Eva Watson Woodworth will officiate.

Family and friends will be received from 6-7 pm prior to the services on Thursday at the funeral home.
