Carol Leamon

Carol Dianne Leamon, age 70, passed away on Monday, November 27, 2017 at Elkhart General Hospital. She was born on October14, 1947 to Ezra & Irene (Weirick) Dunithan in Topeka, IN. On July 24, 1971, she married Arthur Lee “Butch” Leamon at the Topeka Mennonite Church in Topeka.

Carol spent her life working as an administrative assistant and loved to read.

She is survived by her husband, Arthur “Butch” Leamon of Ligonier, IN; a son, Chris (fiancé, Marie) Leamon of Avilla, IN; a daughter in law, Tonya Leamon of Topeka, IN; two grandchildren, Charlie and Mya at home; and a brother, Larry (Janet) Dunithan of Shipshewana, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ezra & Irene; a sister, Sandra Chupp; and her son, Shawn Leamon in 2015.

A graveside service will be held in Carol’s honor on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at 4PM atSparta Cemetery in Kimmell, IN. Pastor Jean Ness will officiate.  Memorial contributions may be directed to Noble County Humane Society, 1305 Sherman St, Kendallville, IN 46755.
