Carol L. Case, 95, of Ligonier, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2026 at Avalon Village in Ligonier.

She was born in Farmingdale on Long Island, New York on April 14, 1931, to the late George and Lucina (Stewer) Leonard.

She married Gordon Case in Watertown, New York. He preceded her in death in 1997.

Carol was a member of Christ the King Lutheran Church in South Bend.

She loved to watch sports center, but Carol was a true homemaker at heart and dearly loved caring for her family.

She is survived by her children, Gene (Margaret "Peg") Case, Barbara (Bruce) Dragoo, and Robert (Ruth) Case; and numerous grand and great-grandchildren.

Also preceding her death was a sister, Janet Buccola

Per Carol's wishes, cremation services will take place.
