Bonnie Miller

Bonnie Lee Miller, age 85, of Topeka, IN passed away on Saturday September 23, 2017 at Greenleaf Healthcare in Elkhart, IN. She was born September 2, 1932 the daughter of Glen and Luella (Buhl) Roy in LaGrange County, IN. On December 22, 1952, she married William E. Miller Jr.; he preceded her in death on February 3, 1986.

She is survived by three children, Brad (Roxy) Miller of Shipshewana, IN, Bruce (Beverly) Miller of Topeka, IN, and Beverly “Bev” Miller of Topeka, IN; five grandchildren, Angie (Mark) Bemis, Mark (Ashley) Miller, Erica (Izaak) Landgraff, Jordan (Lynsey) Hostetler, and Eden (Brian) Miller; along with thirteen great-grandchildren.   She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and a grandson, Matthew Miller.

Bonnie was a lifelong resident of Topeka, IN and a devoted member of Topeka Baptist Church for many decades. She loved the community and worked at Priest Lumber in Topeka, IN for an incredible 62 years. Bonnie was also an avid Westview basketball fan and a wonderful mother and grandmother.

A funeral service will held in Bonnie’s honor at 10 am on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at Topeka Baptist Church, 104 North Street, Topeka, IN 46571. Burial will follow at Eden Cemetery in Topeka, IN.

Family and friends will be received from 3-8 PM on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at Topeka Baptist Church and also from 9-10 AM prior to the service on Wednesday.  Memorial contributions may be directed to Topeka Baptist church.
