Austin R. Delgado

Austin R. Delgado, age 21, of Kimmell, IN passed away on March 17, 2018. He was born November 26, 1996, the son of Christina Delgado in Goshen, IN.

He is survived by his mother Christina Delgado of Kimmell, IN; his grandmother, Kim Delgado (Jose Zamirippa) of Kimmell, IN; great grandfather, Erie Elson of Ohio; uncles, Antonio Delgado of Kimmell, IN, and Artemio E. (Jennifer) Delgado of Ligonier, IN; cousins, Lance and Logan Delgado both of Ligonier, IN; along with numerous aunts, uncles and other family in Ohio and Mexico.

He was preceded in death by his father, Raul Melara; grandfather, Artemio L. Delgado; and great grandmother, Betty Elson.

Austin loved his family and friends. He always knew how to bring them up when they were feeling down. He enjoyed playing games on Xbox, Mexican dancing, music, going to concerts, and laughing.

A funeral service in Austin’s honor will be held on Friday, March 23, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South, Ligonier, IN 46767 with Pastor Jean Ness officiating. A private cremation committal will take place at a later date.

A time of viewing will be held on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at Yeager Funeral Home from 2-9 PM.
