Aurora peña Aurora Peña (Rodriguez Garza) 84 of Ligonier Indiana passed away on October 6,2026 at Goshen's Hospital she was beloved mother, grandmother, and friend; Aurora spent her life surrounded by her large family and warmth of her many friends. She was born on June,1942 in Rancho el Encino. Sabinas hidalgo Nuevo Leon, Mexico to her father Vidal Rodriguez and her mother Aurora Garza Aurora was the wife of the Martin Peña Rodriguez of Ligonier, married until his passing on April 2011. They were together for 45 years Aurora embodied a strong but cheerful spirit with uncanny ability to make fill special and cherished. She overcame many adversities with enthusiasm and love for her brethren, children and friends. She was able to help and soothe the grief and suffering of many during her lifetime. The Peña, the Rodriguez and Garza Families are surely going to miss her immensely. She was preceded in death by siblings: Everardo, Dorofelia, Juan, Noe, Vidal, Luis, Guadalupe, y Ricardo. Aurora is survived by two sisters: Enedelia, y Orelia. Two sons: Martin Peña and his wife Aide from San Antonio Tx and Saul Peña and his wife Ruth from Ligonier IN. Grandchildren Martin, Eduardo, Josue, Isaiah, lesly, Arely Funeral service for Aurora is Sunday, October 11 2026 at 3 PM Visitation on Saturday from 4-8 PM at Yeager Funeral Home, Ligonier, IN ; burial after service.
