Archie Allen Ball, 73, of Ligonier, passed away surrounded by his family on Wednesday, February 11, 2026.
He was born on September 22, 1952, in Fort Campbell, Kentucky to the late Archie Vernon and Mary Elizabeth (Gibson) Ball.
Archie was a 1970 Graduate of Elizabethown High School.
On June 5, 1971, he married Kathryn R. Baker. She preceded him in death on September 16, 2007.
Archie had worked for Dexter Axle in shipping and receiving, Kidd Company Marshmallow, Forrest River, and Silgan Plastics Inc. After retirement, Archie went to work for Napa as a delivery driver.
In his free time, Archie enjoyed playing golf and pool. He was a lover of being outdoors. But, most of all, Archie will be fondly remembered for his never-ending love and care of his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
He is survived by his daughters, Jammie (Chris) Bryson and Teresa (Cristobal) Campos; grandchildren, Vanessa, Jesenia, Alia, Efrain, Alex, Diamond, Bianca, Chava, Matthew, Kiara, and Amy; great-grandchildren, Darius, Vayda, Jeremiah, Zulia, Johnnie Elizabeth, Buddy, Kimberly, JJ, and Frankie; siblings, Annette Ball, Jessie Ball, Tony Ball, Mike Ball, and Danny (Andrea) Ball; and his best friend, Rickey Nelson.
Also preceding him in passing were a son, Christopher Ball; and sister, Barbara Carol Ball and Patricia Elaine Ball.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 16, 2026 at 2 p.m. at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South, Ligonier with calling from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. Calling will also be from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, February 15, 2026 at the funeral home. Burial will follow the funeral service at Oak Park Cemetery.
Memorials in Archie’s memory may be directed to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
