Amber Larimer

Amber R. Larimer, age 44, of Topeka, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at Goshen Health Hospital. She was born on October 3, 1978 the daughter of Ann (Mullins) McNamara and Randal Larimer in Goshen, Indiana.

Amber is survived by her parents; Ann (John) McNamara of Topeka, Randall (Rosa) Larimer of Syracuse; grandfather, Glen Larimer of Millersburg, Indiana; children, Austin Young of Topeka, Alex (Wanda) Young of Ligonier, Kurstin Young of Topeka; grandchildren, Paislee Young, Lincoln Young; brothers, Craig Larimer of Courtland, New York and Scott McNamara of Fort Wayne; sisters Michelle Santiago of Kentucky, Jennifer Santiago of Syracuse, Carmen Renteria of Elkhart, Amber Hoff of Millersburg, Cristal Bontrager of Ligonier, Indiana, Jessica Osbun of Stroh and Johnni McNamara of Warsaw. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Laverle Larimer, Newman Mullins, Margaret Mullins Aleshire, and Claudie Aleshire.

Family and friends will be received from 4-7 pm on Sunday, June 18, 2023 at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South, Ligonier, Indiana 46565.

A funeral service will be held in Ambers honor at 11am on Monday, June 19, 2023 at United Methodist Church, 124 W Pine St, Topeka, IN 46571. Family and friends will be received one hour prior to the service. Pastors Tamara Gerber and Jeff Starkey will officiate. Burial will follow at Eden Cemetery.

Amber worked at Western Consolidation in Fremont, Indiana for 19 years. She loved Notre Dame football, baking, cooking, painting and The Bill Gathers Vocal Band. Memorial contributions may be directed to the United Methodist Church, 124 W Pine St, Topeka, IN 46571.
