Alan R. Griffith Sr.

Alan R. Griffith Sr., age 79, of Kimmell, passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2023 at Avalon Village in Ligonier. He was born on July 3, 1943 to Alton & Elsie (LeCount) Griffith in Mount Clemons, Michigan.

Alan grew up in Florida, and moved to Indiana in his early 30s. He worked within the RV and mobile home manufacturing business most of his life. Alan loved garage sales, and was a collector of many things. Most of all, Alan loved his grandkids and great-grandkids.

Alan is survived by four children and eight grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, and two grandchildren.

There will be a funeral service held in Alan's honor on Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at 11 am at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South, Ligonier, IN 46767. Pastor Rachel Bales-Case will officiate. Burial will follow at Sparta Cemetery in Kimmell.

A time of visitation will be held from 10-11 am prior to the service onWednesday.

Memorial donations are to the Kimmell United Methodist Church.
