Aaliyah Nykole Hagerman

Aaliyah Nykole Hagerman, age 1, of Albion, IN, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 7, 2022. She was born on November 6, 2020 in Fort Wayne, IN the daughter of Henry and Kendra (Duesler) Hagerman. She was absolutely precious and had a smile that lit up every place she went. Aaliyah was daddy’s little girl and loved dancing and lip syncing when her daddy sang. She always loved playing with her brother and sister and sharing her love with everyone.

Aaliyah was truly a gift from heaven and will be greatly missed by her parents, Henry and Kendra (Duesler) Hagerman of Albion, IN; a brother, Brendon Hagerman and a sister, Paisley Hagerman, both at home; grandparents, Scott and Mindy Duesler of Cromwell, IN; Ellen and Joe Hagerman of Ligonier, IN; great-grandparents, Georgia and Don Pierce of Ligonier, IN, Gene and Lexi Duesler of Cromwell, IN and Thomas and Joyce Wright of Wawaka, IN; along with aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was welcomed in heaven by her grandmother, Jennifer Wright.

A funeral service will be held in Aaliyah's honor at 2pm on Thursday, October 13, 2022 at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South; Ligonier, IN 46767. Uncle & Preacher, Charles Hagerman will officiate. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Albion, IN. In honor of the joy that Aaliyah always brought to others, those attending the service are invited to come casual and wear bright colors.

Family and friends will be received from 11am - 2 pm prior to the service at the funeral home on Thursday.
