Janet D. Wyman

Janet D. Wyman, age 73, of Goshen, IN passed away August 28, 2010 at 8:50 AM in Goshen General Hospital. She was born February 12, 1937 in Goshen, IN to Donald J. & Edna (Woods) Myers. On November 10, 1956 she married Charles L. Wyman, he survives. She lived in Dearborn, MI until her family returned to Goshen, IN when she was 17. Janet graduated from Jefferson High School in Jefferson Township in1956. She was a member of St. Mark’s United Methodist Church in Goshen. In addition to being a dedicated homemaker she enjoyed playing the piano, reading, & writing poetry. Survivors include: Her Husband: Charles L. Wyman of Goshen, IN; 1 Granddaughter: Nicole “Nikki” (Tyson) Gongwer of Middlebury, IN; 2 Great-Grandchildren: Dominic & Ashlynn Gongwer of Middlebury, IN; & 1 Brother: James (Peggy) Myers of Goshen, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents & 3 sons: Kenneth Wyman in 1976, Ron Wyman in 1980, & Ricky Wyman in 1991. A funeral Service will be held Wednesday September 1, 2010 at 2PM at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home- 1911 South Main Street; Goshen, IN 46526. Pastor Richard Rinearson of St. Mark’s United Methodist Church in Goshen will officiate. Internment will take place at Pleasantview Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday August 31, 2010 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.
