Jacquline Annette Dancy

LIGONIER — Jacquline "Jackie" Annette (Durham) Dancy, 44, of Ligonier died Saturday, Aug. 21, 2010, at 2:50 a.m. at her residence. She passed away unexpectedly.
A lifetime area resident, she was the manager at Ligonier Liquor were she had worked for over 15 years. She graduated from West Noble High School in 1984, was a member of Ligonier United Methodist, graduated from IPFW in 2006 with honors, and was currently attending Ivy Tech working towards a degree in surgical nursing. Jackie was a very avid sports & NASCAR fan.
She was born Oct. 20, 1965, in Goshen to Robert B. & Shirley J. (Miller) Durham. On June 25, 1988, she married Michael D. Dancy, who survives in Ligonier.
Also surviving are two children, Austin Dancy of Ligonier and Ashley Dancy of Ligonier; two stepchildren, Sarah (Josh) Hight of Bourbon and Kevin (Jennifer) Dancy of Peru, Ind.; five grandchildren; her father, Robert B. Durham of Ligonier; and one brother, Robert B. (Lisa) Durham Jr. of Ligonier.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
Services will be Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2010, at 11 a.m. at The Crosswalk at Ligonier United Methodist Church with Pastor Byron Kaiser officiating. Interment will be at Sparta Cemetery in Kimmel.
Visitation will be Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2010, from 3-8 p.m. at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South, Ligonier.
