Marjorie O. Rheinheimer, age 91, of Topeka, IN died Saturday, July 3, 2010 at 4:55 PM at Life Care Center in LaGrange, IN.
She was born October 22, 1918, in LaGrange to Homer J. and Lizzie (Troyer) Miller. She married Timothy Rheinheimer on October 22, 1938. He died March 6, 1993.
Marjorie was a dedicated homemaker and had worked at the Milky Way restaurant in Topeka for several years and was very well known for her delicious homemade pies. She was also a member of Maple Grove Church in Topeka and was a lifetime area resident.
She is survived by 11 children: Velda (Joe) Ryder, Topeka; Barbara (Alan) Frain, LaGrange; Margaret (Frank) Hall, Wolcottville; Vivian (James) Wiley, South Bend; Delmer (Elizabeth) Rheinheimer, LaGrange; Duane (Heidi) Rheinheimer, LaGrange; Donald (Jan) Rheinheimer, Ecuador; Douglas (Jeanie) Rheinheimer, Wolcottville; Michael (Lisa) Rheinheimer, Warsaw; 25 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren, and two sisters, Margaret Miller, Goshen; and Barbara (Norman) Hostetler, Topeka.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband; two children, Vonda Fought; an infant Delores Rheinheimer; an infant granddaughter, Amy Yoder; a great granddaughter, Danielle Frain; her parents, and a brother, Calvin Miller.
A Funeral Service for Mrs. Rheinheimer will be held Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at 10 AM at Maple Grove Church, 806 S. Main St., Topeka, with Pastor Barry St. Clair officiating. Burial will be in Shore Cemetery in Shipshewana.
Friends may call from 4-8 PM on Monday, July 5, 2010 at the Church & also 1 hour prior to the funeral service.
