Earl L. Galloway

Earl L. Galloway, age 88, of Kimmell, IN passed away Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at 1:05 PM in Warsaw, IN at Kosciusko Community Hospital.

He was born on December 14, 1921 in Noble County to Floyd & Mae (Hoover) Galloway. Mr. Galloway graduated from Cromwell High School in 1940. On September 16, 1972 he married Helen Amick.

Mr. Galloway was a lifetime farmer and worked as a mechanic at Charlie's Sunoco in Ligonier for over 20 years. He was also a lifetime member of the Moose Lodge in Kendallville.

Surving are his wife: Helen Galloway of Kimmell, IN, 4 children: Harold Galloway of North Webster, IN, Carroll (Linda) Galloway of Ligonier, IN, Jerry Galloway of Roanoke, IN, Ronnie (Robin) Galloway of Cromwell, IN; 1 stepdaughter: Cindy (Daniel) Chalfant of Land O Lakes, FL; 14 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers: Melvin & Don Galloway.

There will be a funeral service held in his honor on Friday, April 9, 2010 at 1:00 PM at Yeager Funeral Home- 1589 Lincolnway South, Ligonier, IN with Celebrant Larry Baker officiating. Burial will be in Sparta Cemetery following the service.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 8, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Yeager Funeral Home and one hour prior to the funeral service.
