Amanda Lynn Musser, age 18, of Cromwell, IN passed away unexpectedly Tuesday morning as the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born November 22, 1991 to David Eugene Musser and Rhonda Chivington Krause. Her father preceded her in death in October 1997.
She was a lifelong area resident and a senior at West Noble High School. Amanda had worked part time for Sylvan Learning Center. She was a member of the Columbia City Church of the Brethren where she was actively involved with the youth group. Amanda was a member of the National Honor Society, the Speech and Debate team, Theatre 33, Honors Theatre, West Noble High School Band and a team captain for Relay for Life. She played tennis and was an avid dancer and been dancing since the age of 2 and clogging since she was 7. She also served as a volunteer counselor at Camp Mack in Milford.
She is survived by her mother and step-father Kent and Rhonda Krause, six siblings: Bernie Musser of Brimfield, Chris (Gary) Gayheart of Rome City, Michelle (Wesley) Pugh of Cromwell, Nickole Krause of Kendallville, Madison Krause of Kendallville, McKenzie Krause of Kendallville; her grandparents: Richard and Elinor Krause of Daykin, Nebraska and Wanda and Harold Rummer of Cromwell. Also, several aunts, uncles, nieces & nephews along with her very special friends JoEllen and Aaron Gustin of Garrett. She was preceded in death by her father in October 1997 and Grandparents Robert and Ruth Ann Chivington and Grandfather Howard Musser.
A funeral service will be held for Amanda on Saturday, February 27, 2010 at 3:00 PM at Stone's Hill Community Church- 151 W. Stone's Hill Rd., Ligonier, IN 46767 with Pastor Dennis Beckner of Columbia City Church of the Brethren. Burial will be at Merriam Christian Chapel Cemetery in Merriam, IN.
A visitation will be held on Friday, February 26, 2010 from 2-8 PM and Saturday from 2-3 PM prior to the service at Stone's Hill Community Church.
