Roberta Rose Ostrander

Roberta Rose Ostrander, age 77, of North Webster, IN passed November 19, 2009 at 3:20 PM in Goshen General Hospital.

She was born on August 27, 1932 in Middletown, OH to Herbert & Grace (Hawkins) Fugate. She married Gene Ostrander, he preceded her in death.

Roberta was a lifetime area resident. She worked for Cromwell Products for several years until her retirement.

Surviving are 2 daughters: Rose & Diane; several grandchildren including: Billy Roberts, Roberta (William Jr.) Jacobs, & Tina Roberts all of North Webster; 3 great-grandchildren: Larissa, Trenton, & Gracie Roberts; 2 sisters: Lucile Moser of Ligonier & Loretta (Arthur "Bud") Hawn of Cromwell. She was preceded in death by: her parents, 1 daughter: Marcia Roberts in 1998 & 1 brother: Marlin Fugate.

A funeral service will be held for Roberta on Monday November 23, 2009 at 1:00 PM at Yeager Funeral Home- 1589 Lincolnway South, Ligonier, with Celebrant Larry Baker officiating. Burial will be in Sparta Cemetery in Kimmell. There will be a time of visitation from 11:00-1:00 PM prior to the funeral.
