Joyce "Marlene" Knox, 73, of Kimmell died of natural causes on November 11, 2009 at 4:29 AM at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.
She was born on January 19, 1936 in Noble County, IN to Charles & Althea (Fausnaugh) Reeve. She married Ronald L. Knox on November 4, 1953 in Albion, IN, he survives.
Marlene was a lifelong area resident. She worked at Superior Sample & more recently at Millenium Industries until her retirement. She was a member of the Cromwell Kimmell Lions Club, Bible Study Group, Kimmell Mothers Club, Stones Hill Community Church & enjoyed bowling.
Surviving are her husband, 1 Son: Kary (Becky) Knox of Avilla; 1 Daughter: Sheree (Ramer) & Ron Fritz of Wolcottville; 2 Brothers: Verlin Reeve of Kimmell, Homer (Norma) Reeve of Ligonier; 8 grandchildren & 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents & siblings: Leland, Arnold (Art) & Rosemary Reeve.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday November 14, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Stones Hill Community Church- 151 W. Stones Hill Road in Ligonier with Pastor Joey Nelson officiating. Burial will be in Sparta Cemetery in Kimmell. A visitation will be held on Friday November 13, 2009 at Stones Hill Community Church from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. There will also be a Lions Club Memorial Service held at 7:30 PM during the visitation.
