Nancy K. Hooley

Nancy K. Hooley, age 78, of Ligonier passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at 10:51 AM at her home in Ligonier. She was born on January 31, 1939 to Robert D. and Kathryn V. (Patton) Reed in Elkhart County, IN.

Nancy was a lifetime area resident and graduated from the Memorial School of Nursing.  For 22 years she was a registered nurse at Goshen General Hospital.   She enjoyed art projects, crafts of all kinds such as; knitting, stitching, sewing, and quilting.  Family time was spent visiting Florida with her family and spending time on Lake Wawasee in the summer time.   Her consistent laughter and playing jokes on others will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her daughter, Lisa (Brooks) Gray, of Findlay, OH, granddaughter, Ashley Rickle, and grandson, Tanner Rickle, both of Findlay, OH.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Kathryn Reed, daughter, Kimberlee Hooley and sister, Linda Gingerich.

There will be a private committal service taking place at the Legacy Cremation and Remembrance Center.  Burial will take place at a later date.
