Christina Marie Kern

Christina Marie Kern, Age 41, of Wawaka, IN passed away unexpectedly August 18, 2009 at her residence.

She was born December 14, 1967 in Washington, DC.
On March 12, 1988 she married Corey Kern, he survives.

Christina moved to the area in 1989 coming from Iowa. She had performed as a professional Ballerina with the Washington & Omaha Ballets. Christina worked for the last 6 years at Jeld-Wen in Ligonier.

Survivors include Her Husband: Corey Kern of Wawaka, IN; 1 Son & Daughter-in-law: Corey & Natasha Kern II of Evansville, IN; 1 Daughter: Alicia Kern of Wawaka, IN; Her Parents: Jacob & Dana Raitt of Laurel, MD; 1 Brother: Jacob Raitt II of Baltimore, MD; 2 Sisters & a Brother-in-law: Hope Raitt of Philadelphia, PA; & Jennifer & Tim Macklin of Black Rock, CT.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday August 22, 2009 at 2PM at Yeager Funeral Home in Ligonier, IN with Pastor Byron Kaiser officiating.
