Polly Collins

Polly (Grigsby) Collins, age 82, of Milford, IN, formerly of Ligonier, IN, passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at 10:45 am at her residence. She was born on February 5, 1934 in Cordia, KY to Goodlow and Elizabeth (Ritchie) Grigsby. On December 23, 1958 she married James Edwin Collins.   He has preceded her in death on December 15, 1999.  She was a member of the Trinity Assembly of God Church in Ligonier, IN.

Polly really enjoyed quilting, reading, tending to her flower garden, and being an active member of the Trinity Assembly of God Church in Ligonier.  She will be missed by many.

She is survived by two sons, James E. (Tammy) Collins Jr., of Ligonier, IN, and Michael J. Collins of Columbus, IN; two daughters, Betsy Kay (Ray) Condict, of Milford, IN, and Zola L. Bennett of Ligonier, IN; two grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, and parents.

Friends and family may call from 2 PM- 4PM and 5PM-7PM on Sunday, January 29, 2017 at Yeager Funeral Home – 1589 Lincolnway South Ligonier, IN 46767.

A funeral service will begin at 10 AM on Monday, January 30, 2017 at Yeager Funeral Home.  Pastor Jeffrey Thomas will officiate. Burial will follow at Oak Park Cemetery, Ligonier, IN.
