James F. Foust

James F. Foust, 79, of Ligonier passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at Sacred Heart Nursing Home in Avilla. He was born in Lake City, Arkansas on April 21, 1937 to Troy Jefferson Foust and Thelma (Pepper) Chastain.

James loved to play the guitar, both the acoustic and electric. He could usually be found at Dairy Point enjoying a cup of coffee and calling the ladies “babes” or “Baby-doll.”

James will be missed by his children, Roger (Racquel) Foust of Germany; Siblings, Shirley (Billy) Rippy of Sunnyland, IL, Dave Chastain, and Steve (Myra) Chastain; grandchildren, Terrikka Leiato of Germany, Vela McGraw of Germany, and Steven Foust of Colorado Springs, CO; and his best friend, William “Billy” Abbott of Cromwell.

In keeping with James’ wishes no public visitation or services are planned. A cremation committal has taken place at Legacy Cremation and Remembrance Center.
