Phillip E. "Butch" Rink

Phillip E. "Butch" Rink, age 67, of Ligonier, IN passed away at 11:10 AM Sunday, August 9, 2009 at Avalon Village in Ligonier of natural causes.

Mr. Rink was a lifetime area resident and a member of the Cromwell Lutheran Church. He retired after 20 years from Noble County Foundations.

He was born March 8, 1942 in Goshen, IN to Laurel "Bud" and Evelyn (Bechtel) Rink. He married Shirley Growcock in March of 1980. She preceded him in death in the fall of 1980.

Surviving are a sister Marcia (Kenneth) Michael of Ligonier, IN, a brother Roger (Sharon) Rink of Monroe, NC, and several nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

Along with his wife he was preceded in death by his parents.

Services will take place on Thursday August 13, 2009 at 10:00 AM at Stone's Hill Community Church, 151 Stone's Hill Road, Ligonier, IN with Pastor Joey Nelson officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery, Albion.

Friends may call on Wednesday August 12, 2009 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Church.
